What should i do about my cat ??

my daughter is now 16 months old but ever since we came home with her my cat has just been really difficult i think hes jealous but he has got these horrible habit of weeing and pooing in the her bed he puckered all her mattress and the other night he had pushed my door up from being shut and i woke up and he had jumped in her cot.i think i need to rehome him but ive had him for 7 years now and feel guilty but my daughter must come first what your view on rehoming ? am i right to think about this? anyone experienced this ??? pls answer x

obviously ur daughter must come first in this but i dont think you should re-home him, still keep him as ur pet but u should limit him to places in the house, keep him down stairs at all times, dont let him go upstairs and nowere near the babies cot, also i have a problem with my cats weeing and pooing in the house (aged 10,4,3) so i only let them in when im home i feed them and we sit on the couch together all getting attention but they go out with the milk bottle's every night.
goodluck with him but try not to rehome him only if you feel he will benifit in the care of someone else.
